You are forgetting the 2 factors of:

1. Err7's will fubar you without regular monitoring of your "rings situation".

2. Running out of tickets will fubar you without regular monitoring of your "rings situation".

And possibly if you don't update with a new patch for a long enough time, the game stops running for you (not sure on this) in which case not updating will fubar you without regular monitoring of your "rings situation".

So indeed "pure" AFK will not get these titles. Let's give at least some credit to these factors.

Actually, there is 1 title I do check for, Survivor. If there is someone with this title, he's very unlikely to get into any team I'm leading. Cos @ the first sign of trouble (s)he'll be F12'ing out of there, leaving the rest of us screwed.

I don't know, I think anybody dumb enough to turn on their Survivor title while looking for a group for a mission is probably dumb enough not to hit F12 to save himself. Of course, they may have the survivor title displayed after they died, in which case they would have no reason to leave you. So, maybe reconsider your policy here. Ask if they have any deaths yet perhaps.

I like Charmed/Hapless, but I would like to know when I'm looking at a title that can be maxed, or if there's a standard like "All titles have five tiers".

Between a Survivor and a noob warrior who fears nothing by aggro tons of mobs to the team, I'd pick that survivor anyday. And btw most survivors don't play with PUG's, they'd only play with guildies or ppl they can trust. Survivor or not, lots ppl dying in a mission isn't a good thing and reflects either poor leadership or lack of knowledge of that mission, and should be discouraged anyhow.

As for these two new titles, they actually cost far less money than drunkard title and less time as well. With average luck, anyone should get at least one of those titles with 20-50k and 10-20 hrs playing, which is less than what you'd have to spend on wine getting drunk.

Definatley agree, but for me it costed roughly just over 60k to get the first tier in lucky, just under a hundred from getting unlucky to the first tier, though this is costing more than I initially thought lol.

On average over the long haul, no ring is better than any other. On average you will lose 5 tickets per 9 rounds. This is all averages though and random numbers arent the average so your results my vary.

Just an FYI

Thanks for the FYI, but could you please tell me how any ring is as good as any other when I want to get the Unlucky title ? See, if I stand in a corner, I will lose everytime 6 of the 9 rings is selected. If I stand in the center, I will only lose when 4 of the 9 rings is selected. So, it seems to me that one can spend a whole lot more gold going for the unlucky title if they stand in the center. The math behind all this has been beaten to death on other threads, check them out. The corner of the 9 ring game is the best spot to stand for the Unlucky title, and they are all equivalent for the Lucky title. But why not go for both at the same time instead of just one ?

Now its onto Cantha... i'm running round half that place too now.
And of course you have the grandmaster castographer title?

Just to let you know: something you cannot run:

You're're contradicting yourself: you'reboth saying it's running based and you can't run some maps.

I've made 40,000 tickets, and spent 40k. At first I was losing money, but I seem to be going steady now.

I work on my Drunkard title and this at the same time.
